Here are the freshwater salmon fishing seasons for 2014-15 provided by state Fish and Wildlife that were announced Wednesday (April 9) at the Pacific Fishery Management Council meeting in Vancouver:

Note: If a river is not on this list, there are no proposed changes. Includes Hoko River and all systems east.

NOOKSACK RIVER

From Lummi Indian Reservation boundary to Highway 544 Bridge at Everson from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12″ Daily limit 2 plus 2 additional coho. Release wild Chinook through Sept. 30. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

From Highway 544 Bridge at Everson to yellow marker at the FFA high school barn in Deming from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12″ Daily limit 2 plus 2 additional coho. Release wild Chinook through Sept. 30. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

From yellow marker at the FFA high school barn in Deming to confluence of North and South fork from Oct. 1 – Dec. 31. 12″ Daily limit 2 plus 2 additional coho. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

SAMISH RIVER

From mouth (Bayview-Edison Road Bridge) to I-5 Bridge from Aug.1 – Nov. 30. 12″ Daily limit 2. Release wild coho. Night closure and single point hooks only. Only fish hooked inside the mouth may be retained. From I-5 Bridge to Hickson Bridge. All Game Fish – 1st Saturday in May through Mar. 31. Closed to all fishing from Sept. 1 – November 30.

SKAGIT RIVER

Game Fish: Selective rules and hook must measure ½” or less from point to shank from mouth to Hwy 536 from May 1– July 31 and March 1 – April 31; Hwy 536 to Gilligan Creek June 1 – 13 and June 30 – Aug 31; Gilligan Creek to Dalles Bridge June 1 to Aug 31; Dalles Bridge to Hwy 530 at Rockport June 1 to Aug 31; Hwy 530 bridge at Rockport to Cascade River Road July 16 to Aug 31.

From mouth to Hwy. 536 at Mt. Vernon (Memorial Hwy. Bridge) from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12″ Daily limit 4, no more than 2 may be wild coho. Release Chinook and chum.

From Hwy. 536 at Mt. Vernon (Memorial Hwy. Bridge) to mouth of Gilligan Creek from June 14 – 29. 12″ Daily limit 3 sockeye only. Night closure; and Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. Daily limit 4, no more than 2 may be wild coho. Release Chinook and chum. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

From mouth of Gilligan Creek to the Dalles Bridge at Concrete from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12″ Daily limit 4, no more than 2 may be wild coho. Release Chinook and chum. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

From the Dalles Bridge at Concrete to Highway 530 bridge at Rockport from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12″ Daily limit 4, no more than 2 may be wild coho. Release Chinook and chum. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

From Highway 530 bridge at Rockport to Cascade River Road from June 1 – July 15. 12″ Daily limit 4 hatchery Chinook, only 2 adults. Night closure and anti-snagging rule; and Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. Daily limit 4, no more than 2 may be wild coho. Release Chinook and chum. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

Baker Lake from July 10 – Sept. 7. 18” Daily limit 3 sockeye only. 2 pole endorsement valid. Anglers may deploy gear until vessel limit achieved.

STILLAGUAMISH RIVER

Downstream of Marine Drive from Sept. 1 – Dec 31. 12” Daily limit 2 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

Marine Drive to Forks from Sept. 1 – Dec 31. 12” Daily limit 2 coho only. Night closure and selective gear rule through Nov. 30.

SNOHOMISH RIVER

From mouth upstream to Hwy. 9 Bridge from Sept. 1 – December 31. 12” Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule; From Hwy. 9 Bridge to confluence of the Skykomish and Snoqualmie rivers (all channels) from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

SKYKOMISH RIVER

From mouth to Lewis Street Bridge in Monroe from June 1 – July 31. 12” Daily limit 4 hatchery Chinook, only 2 adults; and Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule Aug 1 through Nov. 30. Beginning Nov. 1, fishing from floating device prohibited from boat ramp below Lewis St. Bridge at Monroe to 2,500 feet downstream.

From Lewis St Bridge in Monroe to Wallace River from June 1 – July 31. 12” Daily limit 4 hatchery Chinook, only 2 adults. Night closure and anti-snagging rule; and Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12”Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

From Wallace River to Gold Bar/Big Eddy Access (Hwy. 2 Bridge) from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30.

From Gold Bar/Big Eddy Access (Hwy. 2 Bridge) to forks from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30. Fishing prohibited from floating device 1,000 feet downstream of Reiter Ponds outlet to 1,500 feet upstream.

WALLACE RIVER

Mouth to 363rd Ave SE/Reece Road (Dike Road) Sept. 16 – Nov. 30. 12” Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule Sept. 16-Nov. 30. Fishing prohibited from any floating device Nov. 1 – Feb. 15; and 363rd Ave SE/Reed Road (Dike Road) to 200’ upstream of intake at salmon hatchery from Sept. 16 – Nov 30. 12”Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and anti-snagging rule Sept. 16-Nov. 30. Fishing prohibited from any floating device Nov. 1 – Feb. 15.

SNOQUALMIE RIVER

Mouth to Plum Access from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 3 coho only. Night closure and selective gear rules through Nov. 30.

Plum Access to Falls from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 3 coho only. Puget Power tunnel at falls and within 50 feet of any point on Puget Power’s lower plant #2 building (north bank) is closed. Night closure and selective gear rules through Nov. 30. Fishing prohibited from floating device from boat ramp at Plum access to mouth of Tokul Creek.

GREEN RIVER

From 1st Ave South to Old Hwy. 99/Tukwilla Intl. Blvd. from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 3 adults. Release Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30. Beginning Nov. 1 fishing from a floating device is prohibited.

From Old Hwy. 99/Tukwilla Intl. Blvd. to I-405 from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 3 adults. Release Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30. Beginning Nov. 1 fishing from a floating device is prohibited.

From I-405 to S. 277th Bridge in Auburn from Oct. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 3 adults. Release Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30. Beginning Nov. 1 fishing from a floating device is prohibited.

From S. 277th Bridge to Auburn-Black Diamond Road Bridge from Oct. 16 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 3 adults. Release Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30. Beginning Nov. 1 fishing from a floating device is prohibited.

From Auburn-Black Diamond Road Bridge to mouth of Cristy Creek from Nov. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 3 adults. Release Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30. Closed within 150’ of the mouth of Keta Creek.

From mouth of Cristy Creek to Tacoma Headworks Dam from Nov. 1 – Dec. 31. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 3 adults. Release Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule through Nov. 30. Closed within 150’ of the Palmer Pounds outlet rack.

PUYALLUP RIVER

From 11th St. Bridge to Freeman Road from Aug. 16 – Dec. 31 (closed Aug 31; Sept. 1, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30; Oct. 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, and 15). 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 2 adults. Release wild adult Chinook. Night closure, anti-snagging rule, and barbless hooks required through Nov. 30.

From Freeman Road to Carbon River from Aug. 11 – Dec. 31 (closed Aug 31; Sept. 1, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30). 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 2 adults. Release wild adult Chinook. Night closure, anti-snagging rule, and barbless hooks required through Nov. 30.

NISQUALLY RIVER

Mouth to Tank Crossing July 1 – Oct. 31 (closed Aug. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25 and 26; Sept. 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30). 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 3 adults, only 2 may be any combination of coho and chum. Release wild Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule; and Nov. 1 – Jan. 31. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 2 adults. Release wild Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule.

SKOKOMISH RIVER

Gamefish: Catch-and-release: Mouth to Hwy 101 Bridge: First Sat. in June – July 15 and Oct. 1 – Dec. 15; Hwy 101 Bridge to Forks: First Sat. in June – Oct. 31.

Closed: Mouth to Hwy 101 Bridge: July 16 – Sept. 30.

From mouth to Hwy 106 bridge from Aug. 1 – Sept. 1. 12” Daily limit 2. Anglers must retain the first 2 salmon, if lawful to do so, and stop fishing. Release chum and wild Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule, single-point barbless hooks required. All game fish closed Aug 1 – Sept 30.

From Sept. 15 – Dec. 15. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 4 adults. Release Chinook. Release chum Sept 15 – Oct 15. Night closure, anti-snagging rule, and single-point barbless hooks required through Nov. 30. Terminal gear (hooks, weights, lures, or baits) and line must not be within 25 feet of tribal gillnets. All game fish closed Aug 1 – Sept 30.

From Hwy 106 Bridge to the Hwy 101 from Aug. 1 – Aug.24 open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only; open Aug. 25 – Sept. 1. 12” Daily limit 2. Anglers must retain first 2 salmon, if lawful to do so, and stop fishing. Release chum and wild Chinook. Night closure and anti-snagging rule, single-point barbless hooks required. All game fish closed Aug 1 – Sept 30.

From Sept. 15 – Dec. 15. 12” Daily limit 6. No more than 4 adults. Release Chinook. Release chum October 1 – 15. Night closure, anti-snagging rule, and single-point barbless hooks required through Nov. 30. Terminal gear (hooks, weights, lures, or baits) and line must not be within 25 feet of tribal gillnets.
