Fishing has picked up recently, and the number of fish caught is improving. There are some dandies being landed, too, including one that weighed 18 pounds. More 5- and six-pound triploids are being landed, while most are ranging from 1 to 3 pounds. The Colville Tribe released 69,000 triploids, weighing about a pound each, from April through June of this year, and they should be about three pounds now. The tribe has also released 2,000 triploids that weighed between 2 ½ to 3 ½ pounds. All of the fish released from the tribal net pen have been adipose fin clipped.
